HAMSPOT by K0NNK

As soon as I saw the video that Jason did on Ham Radio 2.0 on YouTube, I jumped on the bandwagon to get one of these into my hands. For the price vs the other guys, its probably worth taking a good look at.

This Hamspot 4 contains the Raspberry Pi 4b,  a duplex MMDVM Board, a 3d printed pi case, and a microSD card loaded with advanced PiStar software. (W0CHP’s version with the updated frontend)

Colin let me know that I should be getting mine during the first week or 2nd week of July.. his words were “the beginning of July,” but I’m giving him a little more time since I know he is super busy from all of the orders.

I really can’t wait until it gets here because I’ll do a price to performance comparison between it and the other “hotspot” I had gotten from amazon.

Chances are that I will be trying to use the hotspot that Collin will be sending me to create a RF bridge to my wires-x node, which is in turn connected to my room on Wires-X as well.

Here’s to Experimenting!
